Digital Creative Intern

LOCATION: Tucson, Arizona – In-Person

SCHEDULE: Approximately 10-15 hours per week

POSITION SUMMARY

Want to work in sports? ANACHEL is a branding and communications firm that works mainly in collegiate and professional athletics helping our clients navigate the narratives when it matters the most. The Digital Creative Intern is responsible for creating graphic and video content and generating graphic and video templates in a fast-paced environment for ANACHEL social media platforms. Key objectives for the intern are to increase brand awareness, grow the platforms, and various key performance indicators for all ANACHEL platforms by generating new and exciting content, creating sleek and original designs for content.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Macro Essential Functions | General
    • Creation of social media content graphics and videos that support ANACHEL’s areas of business
    • Creative visual storytelling through graphics and videos that inspires target audiences
    • Collaboration with the ANACHEL CEO to create and illustrate the voice for social media within graphics and video
    • Collaboration with Director – Brand Marketing, Communications & Digital Strategy to ensure that graphics, templates, designs and videos are abiding by ANACHEL’s brand identity guidelines
    • Potentially collaborate on creative projects for various ANACHEL clients.
  • Macro Essential Functions | Trends
    • Find ways to create video and graphic content that can go on all platforms including Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, YouTube, LinkedIn and the conference’s website.
    • Be aware and grow personal knowledge of identified cutting-edge content that engages various users to grow the conference’s digital audience
    • Put ANACHEL at the forefront of graphic design with the implementation of sleek, new, and modern designs for graphics and videos
    • Grow personal knowledge of graphic and video sizing ratios and how each different ratio performs on social media
    • Assist in the building of graphics, videos, and posts for promotional and paid advertising campaigns for clientele

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently a student working towards a bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, motion and graphic design or related field is required
  • Experience in social media, digital marketing, content creation, graphic design or related field is required
  • Problem-solving, critical thinking, and time management skills
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.)
  • Advanced skills in Canva
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Experience with social media management tools and their features (Sprout Social, Hootsuite, HeyOrca, etc.)
  • Experience with motion graphics and/or animation
  • Experience in marketing, design, and key creative applications is a plus
  • Ability to maintain punctual attendance and timely correspondence
